Stretching from Arkansas down to Louisiana and east to Florida, these southern states were happy to proclaim themselves the Confederacy once more after their defeat some 60 years earlier. Roughly on equal footing as the Atlantic Union to the north, yet finding no common ground, only the Appalachian Borderlands seperating them seems to be currently keeping direct hostilities to a minimum.
